William E. Lowes, III Obituary

William E. Lowes, III, 76, of Coventry passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at the Kent Hospital in Warwick surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Gisela (Schlomm) Lowes.
He was born on April 4, 1943 in Greenville, South Carolina, a son of the late William E. and Erylene O. (Hartley) Lowes, Jr.
Bill was a machinist for the Rolls Royce Company for over twenty years before retiring in 2005. He was also a Vietnam War Army veteran.
Besides his wife, he leaves a son, Roy; four daughters, Melanie, Mary Sue, Julie Anne, and Viriginia Lee; a brother, Cameron K. Lowes of Providence, and a sister, Elizabeth L. Portser of Pennsylvania.
A visitation will be held on Friday, November 22, 2019 from 9-10 am in the Potvin-Quinn Funeral Home, 45 Curson Street, West Warwick followed by a prayer service at 10 am. Interment with military honors will be in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the R.I. Chapter of the American Disabled Veterans, 83 Park Street, Providence, R.I. 02903.
