Victoria Delia (Donais) Iadevaia-Farina, 91, passed away surrounded by her loving family, Saturday, April 13, 2019. She was the wife of the late Joseph A. Iadevaia and John S. Farina. She was born in Providence, the daughter of the late Eugene and Ascenzia (Marzilli) Donais. Victoria was an LPN at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital and the Providence VA Hospital for many years before retiring. She was a resident of North Scituate for 57 years and a communicant of St. Joseph Church. She was an EMT volunteer with the Scituate Ambulance & Rescue Corps, a foster mother for many years and a telephone operator at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. She is survived by her beloved children, Joseph M. Iadevaia and his wife Mary of Warwick, Donna J. Bettez and her husband Ronald of North Scituate, Diane M. Nadeau of Hopkinton, Steven J. Iadevaia of North Scituate, Lori Francisco and her husband Paul of Warwick and Michael J. Iadevaia and his fiancé Isaac Romero of Tampa, FL. She is also survived by her sister, Eleanor Soucy-Haughton of Cumberland.
Victoria was the cherished Grandmother and Great-Grandmother of Jeremiah Iadevaia and his wife Jenny and their children Samuel, Cecilia and Elijah; Nicholas Iadevaia and his wife Ashley; Michael Iadevaia and his wife Ashley; Elizabeth Iadevaia; Jennifer Sousa and her husband Dennis and their daughter Grace; Jason Bettez and his wife Patti and their children Mia, Jason, and Andrew; Jenna Bettez and her children Luke and Bella; Victoria Butler and her husband Aaron and their children Desmond and Preston; Ryan Percival and his wife Macayla; Jennisie Nadeau; Joseph Brightman and his wife Natalie and their daughter Lily; and Jacob Brightman.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at 8:30AM from the TUCKER-QUINN Funeral Chapel, 643 Putnam Ave. (Rt.44) Greenville, RI with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM at St. Joseph’s Church, 144 Danielson Pike, North Scituate, RI. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, 73 Church St., Cranston, RI. Calling hours will be Tuesday, April 16, 2019 from 4:00PM - 8:00PM.
