Rose Amaral, 92, of West Warwick passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2019 at the West View Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in West Warwick surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Everett J. Amaral.
She was born in West Warwick on May 1, 1927, a daughter of the late Simeon and Marilda (Lafond) Chevalier.
She leaves a son, William Amaral of Florida; three daughters, Deborah Kiselica of Scituate, Diane Briggs of Warwick, and Brenda Amaral of Coventry; a sister, Cecile Gervais of Coventry; 15 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was the mother of the late Carol Demings, Jean Savage, Everett Amaral, Jr., Thomas Amaral, and John Amaral and was the sister of the late Paul Chevalier, Donat Chevalier, Richard Chevalier, Henry Chevalier, Maurice Chevalier, and Joseph Chevalier.
A Mass of Christian Burial to which relatives and friends are invited to attend will be held on Tuesday, October8, 2019 at 9:15 am in SS. John and James Church, 20 Washington Street, West Warwick. Interment will be in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. Arrangements are by the Potvin-Quinn Funeral Home, West Warwick.
