Mitchell Sean Carter, 55, of Exeter, passed into Eternal Grace on Friday, August 24, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved spouse of Donna M. Conway.
Born in South Kingstown, Mitch was a loving son to Sylvia (Clark) Carter and the late Kenneth Carter.
He served in the US Air Force and Air National Guard.
He was a mason and member of the Washington Lodge 5 and was a Shriner’s clown.
Mitch worked for Carter’s 19th Hole his family owned business for over twenty years. He was currently working for Langway Toyota of Newport, a job that made him the happiest he’s ever been.
He loved biking, running, skiing, dancing and golfing with his brothers, cousins and friends. Always smiling and laughing and willing to help, he will be remembered for his love and commitment to his family and friends.
Mitch was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan.
In addition to his spouse and mother, he leaves two children, Amanda Carter and Tyler Carter; three brothers, Kenneth, his twin Michael and Matthew; many cousins, very loving extended family and a multitude of friends.
He will live on through the organs he donated to save others.
His funeral service will be held Thursday, August 30, 2018 at 11am in the FAGAN-QUINN Funeral Home, 825 Boston Neck Road, North Kingstown. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-8pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to www.gofundme.com. will be appreciated.
