Marilyn A. Spooner Obituary

Marilyn A. (Mather) Spooner, 82, of Sandy Lane, Warwick, RI, a former Customer Service Representative and Assistant Vice President of AON, died on Monday, January 18, 2021 at Hope Hospice & Palliative Care in Providence, RI. She was the wife of the late Frank W. Spooner, Jr. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late James A. Mather, Jr. ad Hazel (Berry) Mather. She had been a Warwick resident for the last 43 years. Mrs. Spooner had worked for the Providence Washington Insurance Company, James J. Reilly, Inc. and AON Risk Services for a total of 36 years. She leaves three stepchildren, Michael F. Spooner of Warwick, Stephen F. Spooner of Wakefield, and Kim E. Spooner of East Greenwich; a sister of James F. Mather of Warwick, and the late Patricia M. Varesi; aunt of Jamie, Timothy, Eric, and the late Michael Mather.

A memorial service will be held at the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Avenue, Warwick, RI. The burial will be private.
