Edward C Young Obituary

Edward C. Young, 55, died Saturday, March 24, 2012 at Roger Williams Medical Center. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Eugene H. and Harriet D. (Leamy) Young. Edward was employed as a clerk for the City of Providence Records Department and was a communicant of St. Michael the Archangel Church in CT. He is survived by his partner of 32 years Alan Rebello; three brothers, Eugene R. Young of North Stonington, CT, Joseph J. Young of Maine and David A. Young of Warwick; his nephew Eugene R. Young, Jr. and his niece, Gina M. Young, both of North Stonington, CT. He was the brother of the late William R. Young, Stanley L. Young and Brenda I. Young.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 29, 2012 from 4-7 pm with a service at 7 pm in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Roger Williams Medical Center, 50 Maude Street, Providence, RI 02908 will be appreciated.
