Doris L. Timpson Obituary

Doris L. Timpson (McWilliams), 79, of North Kingstown, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2018. She was the wife of the late James E. Timpson.
A lifelong resident of North Kingstown, she was a daughter of the late Harold, Sr. and Evelyn (Crumb) McWilliams. She was a graduate of North Kingstown High School, Class of 1957.
Mrs. Timpson was a para-professional at Stony Lane Elementary School for over thirty years before retiring.
She enjoyed baking, puzzles of all kinds and traveling with her sister-in-law.
She leaves two children and their spouses, Debra and Donald Peck and Dennis and Kim Timpson all of North Kingstown; a brother, Kenneth McWilliams of North Kingstown; a sister, Shirley Porter of MO; three grandchildren, Daniel Peck and his wife Corrie, Emily Ingersoll and her husband Kyle, and Justin Jussila; four great-grandchildren, Dylan, Grace, Drew and Gabriella. She was the sister of the late Harold McWilliams, Jr. and the late Barbara Bushey.
Her funeral service will be held Friday, March 23, 2018 at 10am in the FAGAN-QUINN Funeral Home, 825 Boston Neck Road, North Kingstown. Burial will follow in Elm Grove Cemetery. Visiting hours Thursday from 4-7pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Disabled American Veterans, 1 Capitol Hill, Providence, RI 02908 will be appreciated.
