Armando Nieves, 70, died Tuesday, October 1, 2019. He was the beloved husband of Jeangkam Nieves. Born in Bayamón, Puerto Rico, a son of the late Armando and Eularia (Vesquez) Nieves. Armando was the owner and operator of Armando and Sons Meat Market in Providence and Pawtucket. In 2017, he was named RI Monthly Minority Business Owner of The Year. He was the beloved father of Yajaira Nieves, Glorybelle Nieves, Jason Nieves, Armando Nieves Jr., Eduardo Nieves, Amanda Nieves Rodriguez, Janise Nieves, and Thomas Nieves. He also leaves his beloved 12 grandchildren.
